Trying to decide between our original true natural skin gel and our newer moisturizing version?
Let this guide help you decide which is best for you.
We’ve been getting questions about the similarities and differences of our two natural skin gel products. So I’m here to lay it all out for you.
While these gels are very similar with the same core ingredients of aloe vera, tea tree, witch hazel, rosemary and vitamin E, the moisturizing version has added argan and almond oils for extra moisturization. But beyond the added ingredients, there are some other key differences to note.
Original true natural skin gel
Our original skin gel comes in the green bottle and is a great multi-purpose skin care product. It is non-greasy and fast absorbing, allowing it to quickly penetrate the layers of your skin to nourish, rejuvenate and heal.
This gel can be used for various skin care, first aid and baby care needs. Many of our customers also use it as a facial toner.
While it is nourishing and offers plenty of moisture for some, others require a stronger moisturizing product.
Common uses for this skin gel
First Aid: sunburns, bug bites, cuts and scrapes, scratches, mild to moderate burns, allergic skin reactions
Skin Care: spot treatment for pimples, acne, toner, eczema, psoriasis, after shaving or waxing, other skin irritations
Beauty Care: anti-aging, fine lines and wrinkles, base layer for sunscreen and makeup
Scalp & Hair: dryness, itchy scalp, dandruff, control flyaway hairs and frizz. This gel is fast absorbing and can be applied to wet or dry hair (and scalp) without leaving any grease or residue behind.
Baby Care: diaper rash, cradle cap, acne, eczema
True natural moisturizing skin gel
The moisturizing skin gel comes in a blue bottle and is also a great multi-purpose skin care product.
While it contains the same core ingredients as our original gel, the added argan and almond oils make this one creamier.
If you use our original gel, you’ll notice that this one feels different on the skin. In order to get the most out of it, and truly appreciate its benefits, you’ll want to spend a bit more time massaging it in. Oh, and a little really goes a long way!

In general
If you’re looking for a first aid treatment, the original is the gel to use. If you’re looking for a moisturizing product, the new gel would be the way to go.
Personally, I find myself using a regular mixture of the two. I love the original as a face wash and toner, and will frequently follow-up with the new gel to moisturize.
I’ve also found both of them to be helpful with my son’s eczema outbreaks. Typically, I’ll apply the original gel first and once it’s absorbed follow-up with the moisturizing version. It’s done wonders!
I don’t think one bottle will replace the other, you’ll find great benefits and individual uses from each of them.
