What’s necessary and what isn’t for healthy, beautiful skin.
How many different steps and products are included in your morning skin care routine?
From facial cleansers to toner, serum to eye cream, moisturizer and sunscreen, the process of prepping your skin for the day can be as daunting as it sounds.
At Nature’s Aid we are all about proper skin care, but we also believe in keeping things simple. Here are some tips to streamline your morning skin care routine. You will still achieve healthy, beautiful skin, just in less steps. We promise!
Rinse with water. There is no real need to use a cleanser first thing in the morning (especially since you just washed your face before going to bed). The water will remove any impurities that settled overnight while keeping your skin hydrated.
Apply skin gel. Our all natural skin gel is a highly effective, multi-purpose product. It will act as your toner, serum and eye cream. This is because our five core ingredients – aloe vera, witch hazel, tea tree, rosemary and vitamin E – work together to hydrate and nourish the skin. They also target specific skin concerns such as wrinkles, dark spots, dehydration, and acne. If you need extra moisture, try adding a bit of coconut oil to the gel.
Moisturizing sunscreen. You should never leave the house without applying a quality sunscreen made specifically for your face. Yes, even in winter. A golden glow can still be achieved (you actually get a better “tan” from eating colourful produce than from the sun) and your skin will be protected. Harmful UV rays do a number on your skin; from increasing your risk of developing skin cancer to drying skin out and aiding in the development of fine lines and wrinkles.
