In small concentrations (.1% to 1%), tea tree oil is tolerated and safe for cats and dogs. While our skin gel falls below what would be considered safe for cats, it may build up in their system over-time (which isn’t the case with dogs and horses). In very rare cases, some pets react poorly to our skin gel, and pet owners should proceed with caution when applying any new product to their pet, just as they would their own skin.
