Our all natural skin gel works for many, many different issues and as such, there is no one way to use it. That’s why we’ve created this guide to help you navigate the different uses of the gel, and how to get the most out of it.
Skin Irritations
The process is the same for all skin irritations: simply apply a thin layer of the gel over the affected area and rub it in gently; the gel will quickly be absorbed by your skin.
For soothing purposes, allow the gel to sit on your skin (do not rub it in) and apply it several times throughout the day.
Why it works:
Our formula contains anesthetic, anti-itching and anti-inflammatory properties which relieve itching and swelling and make it ideal for everything from rashes to eczema. Please note that if the irritation is raw or has any cracked or open skin, mild irritation or stinging is normal.
Cuts and Scrapes
Once the cut or scrape has been cleaned, apply a small amount of gel over the wound and reapply 2 to 3 times througho
ut the day, or more as required. If needed, bandage the cut but don’t forget to give it time to breathe as well.
Why it works:
The gel will help protect against bacteria, reduce inflammation and help speed the healing process.
Scars
Apply Nature’s Aid skin gel to scars once or twice a day.
Why it works:
This will release proteolytic enzyme action in the skin tissue and assist with the natural process of cell division; rejuvenating and rebuilding healthy tissue at an accelerated rate.
Stretch Marks
To reduce the look of stretch marks, apply gel to the affected area 1-2 times daily.
Why it works:
The aloe and Vitamin E in Nature’s Aid helps improve skin texture and elasticity, and lessens their appearance.
When used regularly throughout pregnancy the skin gel will keep skin hydrated and healthy, which has been shown to reduce the onset and appearance of stretch marks.
Facial Care
Cleanser: rinse your face and apply a thin layer of gel over your entire face, gently massaging it in. Wipe away with a warm damp cloth.
Toner: to use as a toner, apply a pea-sized amount of gel to a cotton pad and wipe in one direction over a cleansed face.
Spot treatment: after cleansing, apply a pea-sized amount of gel to any spot or trouble area and let it absorb into the skin naturally.
Why it works:
The leaves and bark from the witch hazel plant are high in tannins, an astringent, which can dry and tighten skin tissue, tighten pores and remove excess oil making Nature’s Aid an effective skin care product.
Dry, Scaly Scalp
To reduce flakes and keep your scalp healthy, apply a dime-sized amount of Nature’s Aid directly to your scalp after towel-drying, massaging it in. There is no need to rinse!
Why it works:
Rosemary is one of our five core ingredients and it has been shown to stimulate scalp and hair growth, slow or reverse the effects of alopecia (premature hair loss), thicken thinning hair and nourish the scalp.
Aches and Pains
Whether from a sport injury or general muscle fatigue, massage Nature’s Aid into the affected area 1-2 times daily.
Why it works:
Nature’s Aid skin gel stimulates blood circulation which helps relieve sore muscles while penetrating the lower layers of the skin with anti-inflammatory and analgesic (pain killing) qualities.
