About Saccharomyces/Iron Ferment

All Saccharomyces are a result of saccharomyces cerevisiae, a type of yeast, fermented in the presence of specific ion; in this case iron. It is used in personal care products as a skin and hair conditioning agent, and it is also believed to have antioxidant properties.

Common Concerns

Considered to be a low hazard ingredients, however, there is some evidence of organ system toxicity and enhanced absorption concerns when used in higher concentrations, but these are well above concentrations used in Nature’s Aid products.
