Daily Skin Care Uses for our All Natural Skin Gel

Our skin gel is often associated with summer – easing sunburns and bug bites – but just because the leaves are turning doesn’t mean you should pack it away for next year. Here’s how you can incorporate it into your daily skin care routine.

As an aloe-based product, it’s natural for people to assume our skin gel is for sunburns and bug bites (which it is). However, aloe is only one of five core ingredients. The aloe vera, witch hazel, tea tree, rosemary and vitamin E in our skin gel work together to create an all-encompassing, one product so many uses, formula for skin care.

Skin care uses, all year round

Daily Moisturizer.

Nourish your skin from head to toe daily. Fast-absorbing and non-greasy, it takes no time at all to massage the gel into your skin. It will work to rejuvenate your skin, repairing damage, adding moisture, evening skin tone, and improving elasticity. And as a bonus, it helps remove ingrown hairs, ease razor burn, and calm the skin.

Acne.

Not only does our skin gel soothe and calm irritated and inflamed skin, it contains antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that make it an ideal treatment for non-hormonal acne. It works by helping clear the bacteria associated with this often painful skin condition, and reducing the inflammation it causes.

Combat acne by using the skin gel daily as a toner. Apply a dime-sized amount of gel to a cotton pad and wipe over a cleansed face. It also works as a spot treatment; simply put a small amount of gel over any blemish and let it absorb into the skin naturally.

Eczema/Psoriasis/Rosacea.

Although different skin conditions, eczema, psoriasis and rosacea can all present with rashes, bumps, redness and itchiness. Our formula contains anesthetic, anti-itching and anti-inflammatory properties which relieve itching and swelling and make it an effective option for these conditions.

To use, apply a thin layer of the gel over the affected area, allow the gel to sit on your skin (do not rub it in) and apply it several times throughout the day. If the irritation is raw or has any cracked or open skin, mild irritation or stinging is normal due to the tea tree oil.

Chafing.

Aloe and vitamin E work to soothe red, inflamed skin from chafing. Simply apply the gel to the affected area but as with above, don’t rub it in, let it absorb naturally. Reapply as necessary to reduce inflammation and irritation.

Dry Scalp.

A dry, itchy, irritated scalp needs nourishment and moisture, without weighing down hair or creating a greasy look. One of our core ingredients is rosemary which stimulates the scalp, while promoting hair growth. And because our formula is non-greasy and fast absorbing, it does this without impacting the look of your hair. Massage a dime-sized amount directly to your scalp after towel-drying hair. There is no need to rinse!

The more you use the gel, the more skin care uses you will find for it.
